πŸ‘‹ I’m Hailey!

Field & Wash is my abstract watercolor practice. My work explores the tension between the soft rhythms found in nature and the spontaneous movement that unfolds when pigment meets water.

The name Field & Wash comes from the landscape surrounding my home. My family and I live on four acres outside Portland, Oregon, where my workspace looks out over an open field that leads into a forest and stretches toward the rolling hills of the valley. It’s where I spend my mornings sipping coffee and watching the light shift across the land, gathering inspiration that shapes my work.

My practice is influenced not only by natural landscapes but also by the everyday atmospheres unfolding around me. Field & Wash reflects a process rooted in curiosity, imperfection, and flow; an ongoing study of how art can hold both serenity and energy at the same time.
